Gift Concept Studio

Every gift we design begins as a concept first. Not a product.
A story, given shape.

The most memorable gifts begin with a meaningful idea, not a catalogue page. Before a single object is sourced, we sit with your story — the recipient, the occasion, the emotion you want to leave behind — and shape it into a concept that belongs to no one else.

This is where every Untosa engagement starts.

The Concept Design Engagement

A Gift Concept Studio engagement is a focused, paid creative session. We commit real time to understanding your recipient and occasion, and in return you receive a concept built from scratch — never a template, never repeated for another client. The concept design engagement carries a modest fee, shared with you before you commit. If you proceed to full execution, this amount is credited toward the final project.

Why the Fee Exists

A free consultation gets you a salesperson's best guess. A paid one gets our full attention, before we've sold you anything.

Anyone can browse a catalogue for nothing. That's exactly why catalogue gifts are forgotten by the time the wrapping paper is in the bin. A concept costs something because it asks something of us — real time spent understanding a person who isn't in the room, before we've earned a single rupee of the execution budget. The fee is what makes that time honest rather than a sales tactic disguised as a favour.

If you move forward with Untosa to bring the concept to life, this amount is credited toward that engagement. If you don't, you still keep the concept — it's yours.

How to Begin

  1. 1
    Reserve your engagement

Reserve your engagement to begin. This is the only payment required before any work starts.

  2. 2
We reach out within 24 hours

Once payment is received, we contact you directly — by WhatsApp or email, your choice — to schedule the discovery conversation. From there, the six stages below begin.

Reserving your engagement is the only payment required before any work begins.

What a Concept Engagement Includes

I
Understanding
A conversation to understand the recipient, occasion, memories, personality and context — context before concept.
II
Creative Direction
An original gifting concept, developed from scratch for this moment, for this person.
III
Personalised Direction
Considered recommendations on materials, personalisation and detail, shaped around what you've shared.
IV
Digital Prototype
A visual prototype so you can see and feel the concept before anything is made.
V
Concept Document
A considered written and visual record of the concept, the reasoning behind it, and how it could be brought to life.
VI
The Path Forward
Should you wish to continue, Untosa can carry this concept through sampling, production and delivery as a separate engagement — the same path described in “How we work.”

Where This Sits in the Process

The Gift Concept Studio engagement corresponds to the first stages of how we work — Understanding through Prototype — delivered as a standalone, paid engagement for those who want a concept in hand before deciding how, or whether, to bring it to life. It begins the moment your engagement is reserved, not before.

A concept engagement
is right for you if…

  • 01

You want a concept in hand before you decide how, or whether, to bring it to life.

  • 02

You'd rather pay for real thinking than get a free pitch that's really a sales call.

  • 03

You have a story worth taking seriously — even if you're not ready to commission the full experience yet.

Because meaning is never found on a shelf. It is designed.

Reserving your engagement is the only payment required before any work begins.
